Why We Built This Site
Public access in Georgia does not mean every Tift County record sits in one database. Clay Pate's office keeps Superior and State Court files, while Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and municipal clerks hold their own dockets. re:SearchGA supplies the account-based search layer for participating Superior and State cases, but it is not the filing system or the source of every certified document. This private reference site organizes those court lines, official portals, contact details, and request routes so readers can begin with the right custodian.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Tift County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Georgia court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside companies operate search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, prices, and data practices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment to us, which supports free access to the reference material. We cannot set a partner's charges or guarantee the completeness of its results.
